I am officially in love with this series. I should’ve known that when Donal was introduced in book one and liked him from the beginning because he was good to the heroine, that he’d get his own story. A wonderful star crossed lovers type of novel which had me wondering just how he and Kristin would get together. That’s all I kept thinking about as I plowed through the story.Their attraction is immediate and Ms. Kitt does a fabulous job of actually putting us smack dab in the middle of this swirling heat. Kristin is a strong wulver who knows just what she wants even if she doesn’t know how she’s going to get him, but Donal had enough faith in their love for the both of them.
The words that came out of Donal’s mouth were some of the sweetest I’ve ever read. Aww came out my mouth more than once.

I choose 5 stars for this book because it had me turning the pages,not wanting to put it down till I found out what would happen.Great read
I was given this as a ARC for my honest review. I loved reading Kirsten and Donal's story. This was my first highland romance and I was hooked from page one. Job well done by Selena Kitt. This book was packed with action and romance. I am looking forward for the next book to come out.
This is a ARC review. What a wonderful story.A historical romance with Wulver's ( wolfs ) and their fight to exist.When humans want them dead for their own greed there are those Honorable humans who would give there life to protect them and even love them.Excellent read can't wait for the next book.
This is book two of the series, and I will be ordering number three. It is a story of a wolf wolf pack. They call themselves wulvers. The book is set in the time Henry the eighth and a Scottish land owner.. Others are trying to get rid of all wulvers and take lover the kingdom. All I did was to keep turning pages until the story ended.
So we are back with the wulvers and the MacFalon's. We come to at a time near the end of the first book. This time we get Donal and Kristin's story. They connect at once and it is so hot! But with him as the new Laird and her a wulver, they know it will be tough. With lots of surprises and turns in the story, it keeps you on your feet needing to know how this works out. I love the whole setting and storyline. It flows wonderfully and written perfectly. I can't wait to read more about this wonderful series!
Kristen is a healer for the Wulvers, so when one of their own is injured, she goes to help. On the way she's caught in a net by poachers. The new Laird of the MacFalon clan is the man to save her. It doesn't take long to realize that Donal is her one true mate. Nor does it take long for Donal to confess his feelings for Kirsten. Donal is determined to keep Kristen. He doesn't care if she's a Wulver.
Unfortunately someone is lying to them about the truce regarding men and Wulvers. Will they be able to stop them before many are killed?
Enjoyed this story and was glad to see the characters from the first book. Can't wait to read the final and see what happens next.
I really liked the first book in this series, but I was somewhat disappointed as I read the second book. The summary of the book 2 story sounded good, but there was too much overlap with the end and epilog of book 1 and there was way too much explicit sex. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with a little or some, but this book was a little over the top.
Now as to the positive. I really liked the hero (Donal) and heroine (Kirstin). He was sympathetic, understanding, loyal and passionate (almost to the extreme). She was brave, feisty and giving. The story contained some intrigue as well as the introduction of a few new characters. However, for the most part the plot was predictable.
I still plan to read book three when it's released because overall I like the series and I want to see what happens next.
